“ Hands down some of the best sushi in Vancouver. We didn’t have a reservation so we ended up waiting close to 2 hours for a spot. Luckily there are lots of bars in the vicinity. The fish was super fresh, which is likely why it’s on the pricier side for the portion. Overall had a great experience here. ”

“ Great food but a bit pricey for portion sizes. Seating is also way too close to each other so you basically get to listen to your neighbours tables convo as well. Makes things slightly awkward. The food was pretty yummy though so I can’t complain too much ”

“ I don’t normally leave reviews but our experience tonight really left us blown away! We decided to stop by on a whim and luckily got a spot at the bar. Watching the chefs meticulously assemble each dish was mesmerizing and such a joy to experience. We had very late dinner reservations at a different restaurant and needed to pass time but not overfill ourselves so we only ordered a small amount. But they still exceeded with their service and even treated us to some delicious bites on the house. We’re so impressed that we made a reservation to come back again. Try this place out! You won’t regret it :) 10/10 ”

“ December 2024 Eat with your eyes. Very flavorful sushi and preparing with love by the chef owner. We enjoyed our family dinner here. We picked this place for our last night in Vancouver and we were delighted by our choices. My rating 5 as very satisfied Taste 5/5 Temperature 5/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Attentiveness and courteous 4/5 Only 8 tables in the restaurant. Waitstaff did a good job informing us our orders but very transactional experience. Not typical Japanese hospitality. Will I revisit? Not sure. Too many good choice restaurants in Vancouver Will I recommend? Yes. Need to try it. ”

“ For Japanese food that isn't in Japan, it's very good. Main dishes are good. Nigiri seems to be their specialty though. Personally would recommend the Omakase Trio Nigiri. I had waygu beef, sea bream and uni Nigiri. All of them melt in the mouth. They also have umeshu which balanced yet sweet. The chefs are all Japanese and this very much an authentic Japanese restaurant ”

“ Had a wonderful experience at dinner here yesterday evening. My husband, son, and I decided to try their sampler dishes, so chose appetizer, tempura, and dessert plates to share (in addition to eel, salmon, and smoked oshi!) Staff was friendly and attentive, food was not only delicious but beautifully presented - such artistic talent! We enjoyed having the chefs come to our table to explain what everything was! Best Japanese food I’ve had - kudos to chef and staff for a great time! ”

“ This place was recommended by a friend for the dessert set for two and it did not disappoint. After a 15 min wait, a gentleman, whom I think may have been the chef, came with the beautifully placed tray of desserts and presented each one, explaining in detail what it was, how to eat it, and the order in which to optimally enjoy it. Then, as my mother and I were the last customers for the evening, he gave us the remaining floral honey spoons. Very kind staff. Beautiful placing of the tables. We were very pleased with the food and our experience here. ”
